"Create an environment where listening is cherished. Listening also means people paying attention to those in other functions, battering down the time-honoured, action-slowing functional boundaries at every opportunity ."

Key Areas Of Specialism

Corporate Values : Corporate Values are one of the key start points for change. People like to have a cultural map to follow.   Values are at the forefront of ‘how we do things around here' and link dynamically to the strategies - see the model below. We develop Corporate Values with our clients in many cases.

Values Into Action : This is a workshop programme with the Corporate Values at the core. The purpose is to bring the Values to life; to use them as the cultural drivers of change. The power ultimately rests in the behaviours which support the values - the added value behaviour ‘where the rubber meets the road'. Outputs are team, functional and individual action plans which can be measured to ensure that success at all levels is being achieved.

Strategy Implementation : We have designed programmes to take the strategies into a tactical roadmap. Quite often strategies are communicated but nothing changes – people find it difficult to uncouple the past and strike out for the future. The transition is key – and often a bumpy ride until momentum is achieved. This is a ‘fun' programme with lots of innovation and ownership. Unless ownership for change is transferred deeper into the organisation then there will be limited success. We need strategic brilliance – but it is only of value when followed with strategic action.

Strength Deployment Inventory®(SDI) Workshops : As stated before we use the SDI® tools extensively in our work. It is how they are used that matters. We have formulated workshops to take the structured learning from the SDI® analysis directly into changed behaviours and processes. Many psychometrics end with the ‘so what am I now meant to do?' We take the entire aspect beyond the rhetorical question to measurable actions. Successful change is governed by positive motivations.

Team Development : The effectiveness of teams in the rough seas of daily organisational life is critical to success. Quite often we have premiership aspirations with fourth division team performance. Consistent high quality delivery is what matters, and therefore teams have to be developed, led and reviewed in order to drive results and renewal. We have a number of workshop designs to focus on team workings and the strength of their interdependent links within the organisation.

Company Organisational Development and Realignment : Most companies design change through refinements to the organisational model rather than ‘big bang' changes. Structures have to be fluid these days and adaptable to strategic refinements. We help organisations drive structural changes through aggressive and challenging approaches to the strategic imperatives – trying to meet the needs of the future with tired old models from the past is a worthless task.

Motivational Speeches :
We have captured much experience and anecdotes from many aspects of ‘working life'. We have a number of speakers who can produce and deliver motivational speeches on a number of subjects. David Ankerson, who led a turnaround within Whitbread, and teaches the case at London Business School, delivers a speech on ‘Extraordinary Performance from Ordinary People' – always a well received speech. David speaks on a number of relevant subjects associated with change in its many guises.

Senior Management Coaching : Leadership is key. Demand for inspirational leadership outstrips supply in the main. We work closely with senior managers, helping them to unclutter their schedules and to focus on the key levers that matter assisted by tools to increase their impact and value. We employ quantitative and qualitative methods before writing a coaching plan as the foundation for each assignment.
